"As a passionate eco-friendly traveller I’ve been fortunate to have experienced many fine adventure destinations, and excursions in the Pacific Rim.
From extensive hiking and caving in Tasmania, canyoning in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, circling around and through the Australian outback, mountaineering in New Zealand and the Canadian Rockies to experiencing the Sub Antarctic on Macquarie Island, northern Canadian tundra I’ve hiked countless mountain trails, kayaked rivers, and explored the back-roads to paradise while experiencing the world the way mother nature intended. That’s why I’m excited to introduce travellers to Samoa by creating affordable and ethical adventure packages that are purposely off grid and off the beaten path.
Whether travelling for the first time or returning to our island paradise, we have put together some of the most amazing and unique tours of things to see and do in Samoa"

Lua Tafua
High Chief, Guide & expert Tusitala (storyteller) Lua spent over 35 years living and working in NZ, recently returning to Samoa to build an Indigenous resort. He graduated from University of Waikato with a Masters of Business Administration majoring in Indigenous Tourism.
"Returning to my motherland and setting up a tourism venture has given me the greatest opportunity to give back to the communities, families and the country by ways of showcasing our culture and its people and not to mention our beautiful islands of SAMOA. I do this by taking guests out on tours or hosting them at our resort. I carry around with me many hats; a paramount chief from the village of Lotofaga Safata, a resort owner operator for Fituafe’s Indigenous Vaivillas Resort and a Tour Guide for Samoan Highland Adventures. I love the outdoors and one of the reasons why I joined Samoa Highland Adventure Tours."
